Big question, How long does the green stay in the flower and is that a touch of pink in the column I see?

Yeah it is a bit too green, not sure how long the green stays but I know it lightens over time. First flowering was pristine white in the beginning but as the plant gets bigger it seems to produce more green in the blooms. Makes you wonder!

Wow!!!!! You tempt me to order one. About a year ago I placed an order for one but the dealer was all out. I have always loved the pictures I have seen on these cascading flowers.
Maybe I should try again. My checking account sort ot shrinks this time of the year. I try to order the plants I want before winter arrives.

Darren, the reason I ask is that Carol & I saw 'Ice Cascade' at its first showing from Valley Orchids. I must have seen 30 different Ice cascades since and only ONE has been true. The flowers on yours look a little too big also. Don't worry, I flowered 5 different Ice Cascades from different sources also. I think you get my drift. PM or e-mail if you want.

Roy, I have heard the same things from a number of different sources. I am not offended by your question and you make a very good point. There are a number of plants being passed off as the original and you may well be right that this one isn't the original either.
Thanks for your reponses, I do appreciate them.

If I can find the pic I took of the original I'll show you. Its like chalk & cheese with what is currently on offer and shown.

Thanks Roy, that would be great. So this is probably just a normal Sarah Jean?
