Thanks, Granny!
I LOVE that dendrobium of yours! I definitely have to check if any of the south african nurseries got this one. From the picture I thoguht that perhaps it's a miniature of some sort. After googling it, I see that it's not. But how tall is it approximately?
Sedirea japonica is obviously one of the orchids I've seen mentioned here on OB lots of times, I've just never followed up on the threads or had a look at the pictures of this one.

Nice to read which pics belong to who, and the names!
Silken, yours deserved the votes it got, it's a great photo. If one person doesn't like it that's their problem. 109 people do like it, which is what matters!
Mine wasn't popular (67- Phal equestris) but I'm very happy that I had a photo to submit this year. I need to get a new camera so that I can finally take pics of high enough resolution for the calendar contest.

@ Silje
It’s not a miniature but medium sized, mine is rather small. You can find a description here
I also like the blue color of the flowers. It's still blooming:

Big contratulations to the winners
I missed voting in the end. Was really busy over the weekend and by the time I got back on OB yesterday I had missed it

Thanks Camille. I'm not going to let those previous 'not nice' comments bother me. It's already history and I'm already busy photgraphing my latest bloomers You little Phal. equestris was lovely. I just bought a long awaited new camera so I am trigger happy for the time being!

Great photos everyone! My entries were #6 and #28. Maxillae is tenuifolia and oncidium intrageneric. Mine weren't popular this year either.

Mine was #13, ASCDA Su-Fun Beauty Orange Bell. I was so thrilled to see my picture in the list and I know NOTHING about photography! I'm happy I got any votes at all and not disappointed in the least.
Congratulations to all the photographers/photos selected. Everyone was a winner
