That's why many get TC's (traveling companion) for the project plant. Plus it justifies shipping cost.

My picks

Gastrochilus japonicus
Laelia Purpurata
Dinema (Encyclia) polybulbon

Would've liked to see Sophronitis and Den. Laevifolium up there but alas!

Laelia Purpurata has some very intresting variatons, look at this page, the "selected" ones are really nice.
