Well since I wont be able to get back to all of you till tomorrow evening. If you want to call Oak Hill and explain that we have 18 people interested in getting the Maxillaria for the Orchidboard project and will they be able to supply enough for 18 and if the would be willing to offer a discount. And post your results in a new thread in the MEMBER"S PROJECT forum and give it a title of Maxillaria tenuifolia (2010 summer project) That's it. But if you would rather have me do it, that's fine.

For those of us in Europe, I believe that up until now only Grobraschener had Max tenuifolia (for 20€?). However Nardotto e Capello updated their catalogue today (impeccable timing!!) and they now sell it, for 12,50€. Now since I can't order for another 3 weeks, you'd better leave one for me! LOL I think I'm going to email and see if I can pay my order and have them hold the orchids until the end of the month...

would you mind if i asked orchids by hausermann's? if not, thats fine. i dont really understand though, how they would give us the discount, would we have to call them and tell them that we are with orchid board? assuming they agree.

First Hausermann doesn't list it on there web page. Second Oak Hill has 2 listed that are blooming size. one for 15 and the other for 20. So everyone will have a choice. You can ask them how they would like to handle the discount (if offered) or just give them the list of participants. But do tell them that this is a Orchidboard project. (I think they have worked with us before) And when someone calls they can use there screen name to purchase plants. Its really up to them.

No problem. Wow when I typed the name in the search it came back with nothing. Anyway OH has the same size for 15.00. and a 4in. pot for 20.00. I still like having the choice for others. Plus they are more likely to have enough.

That's cool too. I've decided to wait for my encyclia anyways. I joined the last project late, so I missed these steps. I found one for a great price on eBay, so I might give that a try. After I get some feedback on the vendor
