Thanks Marty. We all love showing off photos of our beautiful chids, regardless of the name. I'm sure this decision will offer many Noids a fighting chance. Too bad I take crappy photos.

Hi folks,
I am not sure how to post my calendar entry with this note so I just posted it to the photo gallery on this site. The photo is of a native species of the US & Canada which is easily propogated from seed or division. I am growing it with carnivorous plants and other native orchids in an artificial bog made from 1/2 of a whiskey barrel. The plant is Calopogon tuberosus var. tuberosus. The common name is Grass Pink because the leaves of the plant look like blades of grass.

Marty, thanks for including pics of all orchids in the calendar contest! My favorite plants are all hybrids and noids. Now I can enter, too!
