Now wait a minute! Here in Michigan they eat ground (canned) suckers (a type of carp)! What could be worse? (is there an emoticon for puke?) So when you comment on ground chicken (etc.) be careful!

Well, down here in the south they eat all manners of stuff ground, chopped, soaked and pickled.
Anyone for Pickled Pig's Feet?
To each his or her own but I'll stick to Pickled Jalapenos.

I don't know about the chicken, but I have a great low carb buffalo chili recipe if anyone wants it. And I am a total sucker for fautatoes.

You still lc'ing Marty? I'm trying to get back to it. Stupid work (and chef's bringing us stuff from the bread lab all the time) is aggrevating my rosacea.

I LOVE pickled pig's feet - really! I love just about anything you guys throw on a grill (or however you smoke/cook it).

While I lost a LOT on Atkins, I recently heard it can damage your liver so now I modify my low-carb and still include some of the other "beneficial" carbs such as oatmeal.

Aah, Ross you saved the day! I never liked pigs' feet (pickled or otherwise), but to each his/her own.

Oatmeal is wonderful, and is what I'm having for breakfast!

Have oatmeal every-other day or so and egg-beaters in between. I don't believe a hi-cholesteral diet is good for anybody. I can tolerate pigs-feet, but I think it's the vinnegar I like, not the grizzle

I think a diet that is balanced with good food and not processed is good. I believe the killers are salt and sugar since it is jammed down our throats our entire life. I buy very little processed food and eat out very seldom and I think I'm pretty healthy, my doc does also.

I like eggs so I eat some and I like pork so I eat some. I love peppers and onions so I eat allot of fresh ones and I love cheese so I eat some of it also.

To each his own!
