Coel. xyrekes in bloom
I bought this in early December 2015 and it is blooming for me.
Are these multi-floral? Might those green buds be another bud developing?
The flowers are very "nodding" and I can't get a good shot of the inside of the lip, but it is quite dark and lovely. It is marked fragrant, but I haven't been able to detect any fragrance.
In mid-March I noticed what I thought were new growths. In mid-May I realized they were flower buds. And then one opened and then the other.

These are so hot! Yes that's another bud and it will continue as such. The rachis forms a zig-zag pattern as it grows and buds develop on this as on a spike. Some folks will place the plant above their head to really appreciate the flower and get a better shot.Crazy for this genera and your plant is beautiful.Try more species.

Neat. Can't wait for the next round.
I've read that the flowers tend to be long lasting. Fingers crossed that they make it to the end of the month (society meeting show and tell)
The problem with above eye level is that I'm 6' 4" (192cm). I don't have places for a pot up that high. There isn't much light up there either.
But the shelf it is on is above eye level for many off my friends!
