Coelogyne xyrekes
This is my first (of what hopefully will be many) posts here. So hello everyone! I've been waiting for awhile for this Cologne Xyrekes to bloom and today it finally fully opened, I couldn't be more happy. I think this flower, out of all my orchids, is one of favorites. The color and form, in my opinion, is exquisite.
I was actually quite surprised it bloomed already as it's quite a young plant. Nevertheless, it's been a totally painless plant for me. It sits in pretty heavy shade in a big North-facing window.
Enjoy!

Awesome. Welcome to the community. I got one a couple of months and can't wait.
Any care tips?
Is it fragrant?

I find it's pretty to care for. I have it potted in a medium bark and perlite mix and keep it in phal level light, but I'm sure it can take more. I give it a good watering once or twice a week. It doesn't seem particularly needy.
I didn't find any real fragrance, although I could slightly detect scent of mushrooms if I got really close to it. Not sure if it's the flower or just the plant in general though.
Good luck!
