Default Cattleya Charlie Marcotte

Cattleya walkeriana v. coerulea 'Cho-Jo'
x Cattleya lawrenceana

This plant I bought in 2013 and was seedling.
Today it bloomed for the first time, the color is darker, but it came out in rose color because of the strong light. The plant has an identical scent like walkeriana.

Initially, when I saw the first flower looks, I was skeptical about her place in the terrarium. After a few hours, I came to the conclusion that she has a stable place.

When you look at it, the color is very little to blue but not really blue, it's more violet.

I got an like right from the person who made this cross
Maybe I'm wrong, but I still think you're John Marcotte ( http://www.orchidscanada.com/ ).
I do not want to bother you, I just want to tell you that I really like this plant. Initially I was a little disappointed but after the flowers was open I realize how cool it is.

"I have just received confirmation from the RHS that my first ever Cattleya hybrid has been registered. It's called: Cattleya Charlie Marcotte, named after my best buddy and loyal companion, Charlie, my Border Collie cross dog.

The parents of Cattleya Charlie Marcotte are:

Cattleya walkeriana v. coerulea 'Chouju' JC/AOS
x
Cattleya lawrenceana v. Tipo 'Moti Porat'

I made the cross in May, 2010. The capsule was harvested in March, 2011 and the seedlings were deflasked in March, 2012. First bloom was this past September 10, 2016; 4 1/2 years from deflasking."

From a passage published by John Marcotte
