LC Gold Digger 'Fuch's Mandarin'
I got this plant about 2 years ago as a medium seedling in one of those "Sun Bulb" packages. I immediately reoptted it into a 6" basket with large grade bark and charcoal. It sits up high in the Greenhouse and to my delight the other day I saw a beautiful bright yellow flower! It was only one, but I think that is expected on a baby's 1st bloom! As it gets older it is turning more orange. It's little things like this that keeps us going! Here's a pic for everyone!!!

Very nice!
Here's a pic of my little gold digger (of the same variety) that bloomed recently.
I bought mine for the name, alone .

Hiya, Luckgrower
Be sure to post a pic of your blooms here. It would be really interesting to see how yours look!

Gwen, I'm not certain that is the same clonal variety, but beautiful none the less! Luckygrower, we most definitely want to see some pics when it blooms!!!

Hmmm. . .the name on the tag (and believe me, this is the sum total of what I know about it's creation) only says, Laeliacattleya Gold Digger 'Fuch's Mandarin' CCM/AOS. Are there different clonal varieties within that name?
Sure is a pretty little, compact bloomer!

There are ones with and without the CCM/AOS, so that may be it...

I know I'm pleased. And for once, a picture actually captured the flowers true color!
