C. Lulu 'Hot Pink' AM/AOS x Lc. Summerland Girl 'Orchidglade'
This is an unregistered hybrid from Fred Clark of SVO. I bought it 3 years ago. It has bloomed in the fall 3 times since I have had it. The first bloom was 1 flower. Last year it had 3 and this year 6 blooms on 1 spike. It is very scented and looks a lot like the Summerland Girl parent. I grow it in the greenhouse under a shade cloth but fairly bright sun in summer. It is under lights in winter since we have rather short days and lots of snow on the greenhouse roof. So it needs supplemental light.

Very, very nice! He has been doing some really great things, hasn't he?
This past summer, I bought my first orchid (a Cync-hybrid) from Fred in a group order with a couple of other OS members. I was pretty impressed. Next time there is an order, I may just need to try one of his Cattleyas.

Looks, color and fragrance! Beautiful! The last couple catts I got from him smelled so good, I love that.

Thanks for looking everyone
Leafmite, yes, Fred has some really nice hybrids. I have another that I got 3 years ago which is going to bloom for the first time. Can't wait to see how it looks.
wintergirl, this has a lot of scent and is very nice. My hubby likes how this one smells and he doesn't always like the scents.
This has such a dark rose colour it is rather different than any other orchid purple or pink that I have.

Thanks. There's always something I would like on Fred's site! I bought a few more when he was in Canada in June.
