Thanks. The scent on this one started out OK but is heavenly now.
I think I remember you mentioning another SVO cross that you were waiting to bloom, and I had the same one. It's Rth. Martha Clarke x Tokyo Life. It wasn't named when I got mine 3 years ago. But it has been awarded and named Martha's Sunburst in 2014. Mine has 2 new growths, both with buds now so I am definitely excited to see what that one will look like. Do you have this one, or is my memory failed me. If so, has it bloomed??

Yes I had 2 of them but I gave one to my mother for Christmas. They have both bloomed well this will be the 3rd time. The one I kept is going to bloom again it is just starting in the sheath. I don't know if the one I gave my mother is going to bloom or not. I don't think she waters it enough. One is sunset colors and one is pink. Let me see I believe I have pics. Come to think of it I don't think I water mine enough.

Wow, both are lovely. This cross is sure variable too! The one I saw pictures of is the only awarded one so far called 'Stones River' and it is golden yellow with red or dark purple splashes and matching lip. It will be interesting to see how mine comes out. Stay tuned. I hope it blooms before I leave in 2 weeks for a vacation!

Where did you see the pictures? I would love to see it. That was why I at first got 2 of a couple of them. I also have 2 Brassy Gold's but I have never gotten one of them to bloom. Also neither one of mine has had more than one growth at a time so you are taking better care of your than I am

Here is the picture I found online somewhere:
Mine has the two new growths in spike (no sheaths) and a 3rd new growth about an inch tall from another older pseudo bulb. However mine has not bloomed before, so I don't think I am really taking better care, just different I guess.

Thanks, it's a pretty one. More like the one I gave my mother but much better shape and more yellow. My pink one has better shape than the other one but I was always wondering if it was because I maybe didn't give it enough water.
They are both in clay pots that I was starting to drill holes in then found out they dried out to fast. So I no longer drill holes in the clay pots I plant them in. Do post a picture when yours blooms. Both of mine have always come out of a sheath but one never knows.
