It's gorgeous. Mine is just getting done, not this one. Your leaves look so much bigger than mine as compared the my bloom. Mine is a dayana v. coerulea x self. I thought the 'Harford' was more pink. I love the color of yours, the petals are much darker than mine. Don't ya just love the ribs in the lip? This is mines second blooming.

Love the coerulea forms. Do you have a pic?
The leaves of the dayana will vary depending on light. Mine is longer in lower light. Another friend's has shorter stouter leaves in higher light.

FYI- The name should be Cattleya bicalhoi (syn. Laelia dayana). The correct name should be first and the old name should be in parentheses.

I love this little species! So, so pretty. Mine isn't showing any signs of bloom yet - it's always a bit later in the fall, if I remember correctly.
