Default C. mossiae var rubra 'Willowbrook' FCC/AOS

Despite the controversy about its parentage, it's a beautiful colored flower. One day the mystery of whether it's pure mossiae or x graevesiana (hybrid of mossiae and lueddemaniana) will be revealed. Until that time I and other owners of this 'clone' will enjoy the fruit of our labor!

That is just stunning! I love the gold veining inside the lip and the frilliness of the lip.

Thanks all! Just took a few more pics in better light.







The color can be described as a dark glowing magenta. The petals hold themselves up more horizontally than most mossiaes, giving the impression of a fuller flower. I can see why the judges gave it an FCC, whether it was a mossiae or not.
