LC Canhamiana
Howdy
Here is a seedling I got from the raffle table several years ago. This is my third or fourth blooming. It is four leads with 9 blossoms in a 10 inch clay pot.
The seedling was from Carter and Holmes

Beautiful. Quite different than the bluish ones that are often seen.

Wow, how did you get it to grow in such a perfect upright position? My Catts are all over the place and mostly horizontal.

Light, yes, but also genetics. Some will grow "out and about" no matter how much light you give them whereas others will grow upright even in their lowest acceptable level of light. The purpurata in the background of this plant is a very upright grower and most of the Canhamianas I've seen have also been very upright. Not all...but most.
If you have sprawlers...it could just be in their genetics.
