I cheated. I haven't been able to bloom any of my rupics yet (two years trying), so I got this lucasiana cross. The plant has the paddle leaves of lucasiana, which I love. And it blooms for me, which I love even more. Add to that a spicy, walkeriana fragrance and you have the plant that has currently stolen my heart.
