I bought this plant in 2013 as a seedling from Kawamoto orchids to see if I could grow cattleyas. I can, and now I have quite a few growing happily under my care. This plant has never bloomed for me, but I think it will soon. I'm trying to reduce, and I have a few other plants with orangey flowers, and this particular flower form isn't my favorite (I don't love the ones that have such obvious columns). Thus, it's on the chopping block. Nice little compact thing with short leaves and pretty compact growth. If you train your cattleyas to grow straight up, it would be even more compact. Has been grown in LECA, semi-S/H (meaning that I don't always keep a reservoir going, but sometimes I do). Will ship bare-root.
