Arpophyllum giganteum
From Mexico down to Colombia and Venezuela. Related to Cattleya, although flowers are much smaller. The plant aspect reminds of Cattleya iricolor. Grows well under conditions suited for Cattleyas.
I obtained a small division without visible front activity 2 years ago. It adapted and now rewarded me with a spike. But it is still a small plant.
