Default Laeliocattleya Jewell Osment

This was known as Smbc (Schombocattleya) but they went ahead and changed it!

This is the first time I've got a bloom from this large 'chid and it was a TOTAL surprise this morning!
It is towards the back of one of the racks and I had to move it over to make room for the new WOC chids...and found this!

Wow! That's different! Where'd all the missing petals go? I'm not familiar with this 'chid, but need to be.

Ross, you're absolutely right! I got so excited when I saw a bloom, I didn't even realize it's a mutant!!!
...but I like it

Here's what it's supposed to look like

What a strange creature. Nice though. Cool!

What an interesting bloom! I really like that but if it is actually a mutant, guess we can't buy one like it. Darn!
