Wow, blooms that often?! Here I was thinking Cattleyas only bloom once a year, sometimes less?!
And it's a species?! That's amazing!
Thank you for sharing!

Thank's CambriaWhat
It's 6 Years old and up to now only bloomed once a year,in October. This is the first Time that it bloomed 3 Times in a row,my Chantilly Lace is doing the same thing now too,3 Times and it's blooming again.Maybe they have to get bigger to bloom more often? Or I was just Lucky this Year.
But I am not complaining ,it's making up for all the others that have not bloomed at all ever since I got them

It's gorgeous! Love this species so much I have the regular color and the coerulea. (I just need to add an alba and a semi-alba!) Good growing!!
As for the multiple blooms...it's really all part of the same cycle it's just that some of the growths are a bit behind in timing than the others. I find that many catts put out flowers like this because the growths don't grow in perfect sync.
Personally, I prefer one big flush of blooms over the dribble effect but the latter allows us to have the flowers over a longer period of time and that's never a bad thing.
Don't you love the fragrance?
Again...good growing! It's beautiful.
