Default Pot. Psycho Bride 'NN'

Thought I'd better take a picture of these buds. This is the third time it's budded this fall/winter. First time buds with no sheath died before they developed at all, then got a sheath and watched as the stem grew, buds grew, buds showed color and just as they should have opened, they blasted This time, no sheath again, but figured I should capture these buds in case they plan on blasting again

Awesome! I have this hybrid.
I've been taking very poor care of it though.
How do you keep yours?

South window, water once a week, fert once every 3 weeks, quantum (orchid probiotic ) every 3 weeks, look at it 2-3 times a day to see what's up As you could see in my post, I don't have the best luck with it, but I keep trying

Hey gngrhill what's up? So i asked for you in my favorite nursery and they told me that flower/buds are really fragile so you can repote and every thing as usual even if you have flower stemp untill you get buds or flowers then DON'T TOUCH IT OR MOVE IT ANYWHERE DIFFERENT. Also you must avoid putting it near fruits or vegetable and FAR FROM A WINDOWS or at least behind the wall next the window because at night in front of the window it's extremely cold! Good luck and don't blast
Also those are the current flowers that bloom in my favorite nursery they aren't mine. Yet:rolleyes:.

That would drive me crazy to have gotten that far then lose them. Sorry to hear that, hopefully you have better luck this time.

I shared in another thread that I got a couple new Zygnoesias, one in bud and the other came with a very short/young unexpected spike. One of the buds blasted but the new spike died pretty quick. I was pretty sad, so I can relate well to your plight. Keep us posted.

Thanks for thinking of me when you were at the nursery. Also thanks for all the beautiful pictures. I wish we had a nursery like that near us
