Rlc. Chia Lin X Rlc. Mongkol Delight
This is a first bloom for me on a mature plant. A friend gave it to me this past spring as he was downsizing. It had a beautiful scent as soon as the blooms opened. 4 blooms on 1 spike.

Wow! That's very beautiful but also very unusual. Do you have a name for it?

Thanks for looking everyone.
Tucker85, it has never been registered according to OrchidWiz. I just showed the photo to the friend that gave it to me. He grew it in a greenhouse in summer and in his basement warm room in winter. He says when it bloomed for him, the petals all had the same darker purple colour of the lip. The lip looked as it does now. I grew this in a warm sunny greenhouse all summer but the temps are now 65 in the day and 55 at night. It is under T5 light. I guess the cool temps made it produce a rather different colour!

Frills, color, texture, pattern, and fragrance - those flowers have a lot going on. An abundance of riches.
Differences in light and temperature can make a big difference in color. Generally cooler and brighter equals more intense color, to a point. Day/night temperature difference and wavelengths of light can figure in too.

Thanks terracotta7 and PaphMadMan.
I thought the cooler temps would make the colour more intense, but it seems they were deeper colour with warm temps. I have less light in winter than the previous grower, although lots in summer. So that likely played a roll. And I likely have a larger diurnal range than an in house grower, both summer and winter.
