Standard Cattleya Noid Male
Default Standard Cattleya Noid

Last autumn I took over this large flowered standard Cattleya from the estate of an orchid lover. No label, but the leaves indicated a lot of pigment. Now for the first time I see a flower. Do you have any idea about a name ?It might be influenced by Blc. Memoria Crispin Rosales as a vague guess. Good scent.
Immediately upon opening a bumblebee was attracted, crawled in and pulled out the pollinia. I should better bring Cattleyas in my kitchen to keep unwanted pollinators away.

Very pretty! There are so many lavender cattleyas that it would be difficult to guess the name.
