Default Epidendrum Magnoliae

Tiny blooms smell amazing. I must have smelled a spider once because that's what it smells like. Or licorice ? Flowers appeared up so fast. This is the only orchid that grows native here in NC. Likes high humidity - I keep it in live sphagnum rotisserie chicken style.

Neat. I'm assuming you mean this is the only epiphytic orchid native to N.C.? Because otherwise, boy do you have a surprise coming...LOL. There are quite a few NC native orchids, including some rather stunning slipper orchids.

No my statement was wrong but I was not under that impression. I should have said it is the most northern growing epidendrum, it grows wild here in NC.
