C. Mini Purple
Hasn't been out for long. Best color I've been able to get of the flower with the digital camera. It is much darker than this.

I love the colour on this one! Does it bloom more than once a year?

Beautiful, I too have a time getting the right color on some of them. I guess not the right camera.

It can but not regularly. What it does do is make a series of new growths which flower thus giving a long period of blooming.

That sounds pretty nice. I have an LC that only blooms for a few weeks near Christmas. I have been reading that some of the new mini catts can bloom whenever a growth is completed. I'm going to a show in a couple of days, maybe I can find one similar.

We have 4 nurseries specialising in Catts. One is breeding Catts that will flower up to 4 times a year in general conditions, nothing special needed. I have some of their crosses flower 3 times in a year for me.

That sounds like what I'm looking for. I love my LC but a few weeks a year of blooming isn't enough. When your space is limited, you want something that either blooms a long time or repeats bloom.

Thats where the Mini Catts work well. They can have many flowers & multiple flowerings from 80mm pots upwards. 150mm pots are huge plants. I have a C. Orpetii 'Laina' with 11 new growths, potential 11 flowers & its in a 140mm pot.
