C. walkeriana?
I purchased the seedling with the name, walkeriana x self.
It finally blooms this year. The bloom looks different from the common type of walkeriana. The fragrance is like that of walkeriana. Maybe it is a cross.

We have had a similar question here, and isurus mentioned it could be C. xmesquitae, a hybrid of walkeriana and nobilior. But I really can't tell you for sure, it's just an idea.

Yep, that white spot on the lip is pretty common with xmesquitae (or Brazilian Jewel which is the same cross, but done by a human instead of a bee!). However, it is blooming at the right time of the year for a pure walkeriana. Personally, I would label it as either xmesquitae or Brazilian Jewel.

nice plant, but i agree with Steve, does not look like a pure walkeriana to me.
problem is that there is plenty of awarded walkerianas that are not truly pure walkerianas, so the line in here is quite diffused. and it is possible that the hybridizer used a plant that he/she's got as a walkeriana and it is not.
walkerianas are quite "complex", to confirm if they are or not.
regardless of if she is or not, (it could be) she is a gorgeous plant.

Thanks. Some of my friends also said this one looked like Brazilian Jewel, or Brazilian Jewel x C. walkeriana which was made by a local nursery here years ago.
