Default Cattleya maxima 'DZR' (lowland ssp)

This is a very special plant with flat petals seldom seen in this species. This is the lowland Cattleya maxima, the plant which is the type for the species.

You have some truly stunning plants in your collection, Mauro. Can't you post an ugly one now and then to at least make me feel slightly less envious? :-)

This is the flatest C. maxima I've ever seen. When it grows up, it will be absolutely spectacular!
