Yeah, this plant seems to be a very strong grower.
A third eye almost started to develop but then halted. I often get this black coloration on certain dormant eyes. wonder if it's some kind of mild fungal attach because it only seems to attack the eyes but do not spread to other plant parts.

Anyways, how big is your sheath? Yours will bloom before mine as the sheath on mine is barely poking its head above the leaf.

Sorry, I didn't see this as I was away for most of August. Can't answer your question now, but my two buds are well out of their sheath and I am hoping the largest one opens later today. How is yours doing. This a first bloom for me with this plant so a little nervous to see what's in that bud!

Well, mine is still just sitting there and I do not see anything happening inside, but the pbs on both growths are getting bigger and bigger.

Last year, this plant was in bloom in September.
I guess it is a little late this year. better late than never, right? I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

My first bud opened today but one petal seems droopy

but my Goldenzelle "Lemon Chiffon" is also making a large sheath. It was bought in bloom in November last year, so that one is on schedule I think.
I'm so excited! It had very interesting (in a good way) fragrance!

The petal has opened out a bit more. Not too bad but not quite as open as the other side. The 2nd bud is opening and is taking forever. Hopefully it does open! The flower is huge by my standards. Likely the largest one I have ever bloomed and the fragrance very nice. I will post a photo on a separate thread eventually.

Fingers crossed for yours to get buds and for the Goldenzelle-that's another beauty.
