Outrageous price for a catt on eBay
I don't understand why people charge prices like this! It's a cattleya mossiae var semi-alba H&R. I bought this exact plant of the same size from H&R Nursuries and it only cost 40 dollars or so this guy is charging nearly 200 dollars with 15 dollar shipping which is outrageous look!
It's in a 5 inch pot! I emailed him and asked why and got no response of course! Do you really think someone will purchase it? If the plant were huge I could understand. A specimen of this plant would demand that price or more, its a sight to behold in person, pictures don't do these flowers justice I can't wait for mine to bloom again! At this size 200$ is a joke.

That's just pure highway robbery! Remember the seller and be sure to NEVER buy from them. There is no reason to pay that much for a widely available clone. If it was a division of the original plant, then they could probably get away with that price however the posting makes no such claim.

Unless they meant to start it at 19.99 and accidentally added an extra 9.

Well Then they made a few mistakes...that is not the only high priced plant listed presently or in past listings. Also if it was a real mistake they should have responded to my email about the pricing stating so and that it would be re-listed at the correct price. But if someone is willing to buy it that's the folly of the buyer.

Calm down, people, the seller is not forcing anyone to buy that plant.
Don't buy if you don't want to and buy if you want to.
By the way, I am not related to this seller in any way or form. lol

I've noticed that people will overpay for stuff on ebay - perhaps not having looked into prices elsewhere for the same item. I once was looking for a dvd set of a mini-series, would bid on ebay, only to be outbid putting the cost higher than the price for the same item new on Amazon (plus would have been free shipping from Amazon) - annoyed the heck out of me Of course, they still weren't paying 100+ dollars over the cost of the same elsewhere ...
