After close observation, I noticed that beside the large spike that will soon bloom, their are about 4 or more other new sheaths developing.
I also looked at the tag with the name and cross in brackets. (It has a red blank tag as well which i assume identifies is at rare) The take also has written on it 'NOT FOR SALE' hehe

a white sound nice for a change...i often consider visiting Mr.Hamilton myself for a Trichocentrum undulatum!!! The chemical Jamaican quarantine makes u spray plants with contain copper and the oncids usually die wen u plant dem at home...seem to hate that particular chemical.......

It took some time but finally the new spike has bloomed. The flowers are twice as big as the first set surprisingly; might be the superthrive
Their are soo many developing buds and they slowly develop and open like you would expect a cattleya to bloom 1 by 1...so by the time 4 or so are open 1 or 2 start to fade. It has been blooming forever, this one spike is almost at 20 blooms soon!
