Laelia lucasiana question
I've had this Laelia for only a couple of weeks, and I'm starting to wonder whether the leaf on the new growth, far right, is going to open. I had a catt whose leaves stayed fused...damage from sunburn, I think. Anyone have one of these? Are the leaves supposed to be closed when the new growth is this far along?

I don't have this species, but that growth look normal to me. It actually looks like this plant received better conditions than normal and its newest growth is therefore significantly larger than normal, thus the reason it has not opened its leaf yet. In time, it should open up normally, but it will a monster growth compared to the others!! lol

oh nooo! not patience again! Thank you for the feedback. I will try. It's my first laelia, so I'm not sure what to expect. The pot is three inches, lots of air movement in the growing room and good light. Any advice on watering this one? --
