The curly petals did straighten out, which makes me happy.
and the other bud just opened this morning.
I like this plant!

I think the older bloom is developing some scent, which is always a plus. The plant description said nothing about this plant being fragrant so I'm surprised!

My Toshie Aoki had very yellow petals and that beautiful violet lip. I haven't talked to the guy in 5 years. He's an as*#$^e and grumpy too.

Default Fragrance is there! :)
I am happy to report that this flower does have fragrance. It is not that strong so I have to get my nose right up to the flower but it smells very similar to Jonquil or Tazzeta narcissus.

Must smell so nice! Give it a few more days, the fragrance will probably get stronger.

You are so right, Camille. Now both flowers emit quite strong scent that I can smell it even when I'm not around the plant. Smells soooo nice!
