Wynn Dee13 please let me know when you are coming to San Diego. I can help you find your way about. I live at the beach in north San Diego county. There are quite a few orchid nurseries around and if you are here on the first teusday or the first wednesday of june may I invite you to the fabulous San Diego orchid society meeting or the Palomar orchid club meeting. Just let me know and I'll try and arrange a grand day for you.

Thanks James! We will be there during the last week in June. I know Andy's and SVO are close but could you tell me any other orchid nurseries that we could visit? I wish I lived on the beach in South California! I live very close to the beach but in Washington state. It's just not the same! I want to live somewhere with palm trees!

After this weeks finals at school, I'll get you some addresses. I'll send you some for the Santa Barbara area too. 4 of them very close together just in case you want to drive up there and see more orchids than you've ever imagined could be in one place.

Thanks James! I actually went to the Santa Barbara Orchid Estate International Fair last year. It was great! It's a beautiful place and there are lots of orchids! We were almost going to go again this year but then we decided to go to San Diego instead. I really want to go to Andy's and Sunset Valley Orchids. Thanks for taking the time to do all that!

Right near Andy's is CalPacific Orchids. Lots of nice orchids and pleasant folks. My hometown. And by SVO is another nice orchid place. And Casa de las Orchideous (?) might be open. I'll have some addresses ready with directions. I don't know if you'ld really like living down here at the beach. It's been in the 70's lately with bright blue skies. Coastal clouds in the evening for the sunset. Tough to take every day. Hehehe. Are you in the Puget Sound area? I always like driving up around Wash/Ore. I photograph with a large camera and print my own pictures in a darkroom. Mostly black and white. I like the seashore up there.

I live about an hour north of Seattle on Camano Island. My Dad lives in Seattle so I go down there a lot. The beach is just down the road from my house. But no palm trees or sunny weather all the time! Although our summers are nice. We have been having nice weekends and this weekend is supposed to be 78. But we also get our share of rain! I want to live somewhere that is warm enough to grow my orchids outside all year long! Thanks for the nursery info! I really appreciate it!
