Wow, it's gorgeous! I can smell it from here.
The shape is much different than mine, but I read that Jungle Eyes has a huge amount of variation in shape and color. I think I like yours better, it's so round!

but it has almost no fragrance at least not yet!
my other plants, has a shape similar to yours, and is also more fragrant...

Looks like I can successfully grow Catts in my new apartment, the plant is in bud!! I didn't even notice it until the buds were poking out of the sheath. Now I can celebrate by buying more Catts!!

Is it normal for it to be blooming twice in one year? It's blooming off a newly matured growth, that was only a nubbin when I got the plant in April.

I'm afraid I can't help on whether it's normal to flower again. I'm still very much a novice on catts.

Depending on the parentage, some cattleya hybrids do bloom twice a year. I prefer these. Looks like you found one!

I have several of this hybrid and almost all of them show some deformity on every blooming
