Lc. Beaumesnil is a cross between Blc. Culminant ‘La Tuillerie’ and Cattleya loddigesii. This is recent remake made by a local nursery, this time using Cat. loddigesii ‘Vera Lúcia’ as parent. The clone ‘Vera Lúcia’ is a breeder of quality, the same that has generated Cat. loddigesii ‘Iza’ and ‘Laura Trevisan’ shown here days ago. Considering that 50% of this flower is a species, it has very good shape and substance.

The above is a good clone, but I have another one that is better than this and is my favorite because of the heart-shaped petals of the flower. Unfortunately it is not going to flower this year, but you can take a look at it below.
