Blc. Chia Lin 'Shinsu'
It is a popular cross among red cattleyas.
The bloom is also fragrant. The clone,Shin-su, is equal to New City, which is the name of a town in south Taiwan.

Beautiful bloom with gorgeous lip. I have cross of Blc Chia Lin X Udom Rattana and I think it should have similar lip pattern. At least I hope so .
How big is the whole plant, do you have picture of it? It looks pretty tiny from this picture. I just wanted to compare to mine to see how long before blooming.
Thanks.

I don't have the photo of its entire plant now.
The plant is about 30 cm tall. It usually takes two years or more for a mericlone plant to bloom for the first time.

InspirChid, yours is pretty. Chia Lin has several clones with darker blooms. But they are seldom grown recently. The Parent, Blc. Oconee, itself is also a dark beauty. My Oconee repotted this spring, and not has blooms this winter.
