Default Lcn. Memoria Timothy Kissoon - yet again!

Third time blooming this year. This plant bloomed for the first time ever just a year ago. This is the first time it's had more than one spike at a time - has two with open blooms, and another with buds just emerging from sheath.

This grows like a weed! There are two maturing new growths right now, one developing a sheath. It gets both bifoliate and unifoliate growth - so far it seems that the unifoliate growths spike from sheaths, but the bifoliate growth does not get sheaths before blooming.

Compact rhizome on this one, there's a ton of growths in a four inch pot (tho needs a bigger one), but side to side, this plant takes up 18" on the windowsill. I had been hoping this would remain a rather compact plant, but the new growth this year has been getting very big.

This blooms with only moderate light, and actually burns fairly easily. Mine is growing in a fairly shady west window.

Photos aren't great, and color isn't either - hard to capture the color of this one, especially on a gloomy day. Blooms are facing every which way - I had to turn the plant around as a spike was growing up against the window

Thanks for looking

Wow! At this rate you'll have a specimen sized plant in no time. It's beautiful.

Thanks June, Bud, silken, and Paul

despite being in only a 4" pot, this one is rather precarious on the window sill already *sigh*

little did I know when I got this a couple of years ago, how quickly it would multiply lol - tho all in all, it's nice problem to have
