2 new additions!
The first one is Potinara Ah Chung Yo Yo "Little Goldfish". I can't detect any fragrance. I got it from Dan and Margie Orchids in Southwest Ranches. I'm crazy about this one! Just pretend that the left sepal didn't break off.
The second one is from Mickey's Orchids in Fort Lauderdale. It is labeled C. Netrasiri x B. nodosa. It has a pretty strong fragrance. I think it kinda smells like soap with a tad floral? I don't know what B. nodosa or C. Netrasiri smell like, so I have no idea if the fragrance is from one or a mix of both. She said that this cross blooms almost constantly for her, so I'm hoping it does the same hanging in my tree. Thanks for looking!

I really like the goldfish too. Such a cute flower. How big is the plant?
I like the nodosa hybrid too. That's a lot of flowers for a plant that blooms so much. It must be a fast grower. About fragrance...at night the nodosa has a powerful pleasant intoxicating fragrance. Is your hybrid fragrant during the day?

The first plant is about 10" tall. And the nodosa hybrid is fragrant 24/7. I wouldn't say it's intoxicating, more like "oh wow, that's interesting." Actually, I didn't like the fragrance at first, but now it has graduated to "interesting". Definitely not even in the same galaxy as some of the fragrant floofs. But not nasty like a bulbo.

I had a Little Goldfish that I got at a show two years ago... I LOVED IT!!!!! It declined rapidly at my home and I was so upset. I gave it to my friend Erica, thinking that a change in conditions might do the trick... AND... it has worked! As I'm told, it has put out two new growths and lots of roots... hopefully it will flower again someday! The flowers are WONDERFUL!!! I wish you better luck with yours than I had with mine!
That Brassavola cross is AWESOME... you'll have to send me a division someday (SOON!)!!!

Both of your plants are gorgeous. I think the nodosa cross has been registered with RHS as Bc Adrienne Arsht.

I'll have to see how I would divide it, since it's hugging the tree fern so closely. Maybe it'll take a detour out into the air, lol. I should mention that they had another mounting of this cross. Very different for a sibling, it had the same basic form, but with a distinctly purple lip and more purple on the petals and sepals if I remember right. And the plant was cuter with short, wider leaves that stay close to the mount. It only had a couple of blooms, otherwise I would have chosen that one. I chose bigger show over prettier blooms and plant. Go figure. It's funny because I was debating between the two very different looking orchids before I looked at the tags and saw they were the same cross!
