First off - lovely flowers.

I don't understand why you would say it's too big? Just how big is it?

It in fact, Does look like an Enc, tampensis hybrid to me. Look at the 2nd pic. The lips shape, and striations definitely look like it. The over all petals and sepal shape looks like it as well.

To me, it looks correctly labeled, but, not haven seen one before...

If it is too bid, like a Encyclia, maybe you can divide it sown? Also please let me know where you got it so I may inquire about one for myself as well...

Thank you for your comment.
It is not giant. Leaves are about 10" in 6" pot. It is just too big for my limited space.

Also I am not sure where you can get it. A local long time orchid collector deceased few month ago and relatives were selling the collection. It was pretty ratty looking plant but I got it for $5 out of curiosity. As you see Lollipop managed to flower and has some new shoots coming.

Anisa I love the blooms on your plant. The colors combination is one of my favorites. Is it fragrant ??? Also like others suggested if it gets to big for your growing space you can always divide it and share with other orchidholics. Remember than whenever you divide to keep a minimum of 3 pseudobulbs per division. Enjoy it and hopefully you'll get more spikes soon.
