I got this Lc. tropical pointer 'cheetah' at my local Lowes about 2 weeks ago as a little baggie orchid. I didn't think it was this big when I got it, but am happy that it is bigger than I thought. The plant was sitting in a bay window which my cat loves, and unfortunately, out of about 30 plants, was the only one knocked over and out of its newly repotted pot. I potted it up again, but while searching through my orchid supplies I found a piece of driftwood that I used to have in one of my gecko's cages and thought that it would make the perfect mount. So yesterday I mounted it up. I have mounted orchids before, but nothing this big or to this extent. I was kind of weary about mounting it at first, but once the project was finished, I was taken back by how good it looked. Here are some pictures of my little plant. I can't wait to see it bloom and spread all over the mount.
