This September bloomer opened for me yesterday. I love the color of this one. I bought it last year on sale at a local garden center. It bloomed for me a few months later in October. The blooms lasted over 6 weeks. Last year there were two blooms. Only have one this year but it is larger than last years. It was in sheath for what seemed forever and produced more honey than any of my other catts have. You can still see some of the honey on the sheath at the bottom of the photo.

Is it usual for Catts to produce this honey from the flower sheaths? I've not had one flower for me yet so I'm still learning a lot about them.

bought a medium sized plant of this last year from clouds orchids. I put in s/h and it has put a out a new growth every 4 months but no flowers yet hopefully it will be mature enough to bloom next spring. I hope it is as beutiful as yours.
