Talking Cattleya Fulvescens 'Peaches Immortality' in bud

Hi all,

I bought this as a division back in 2009. After mutually torturning each other, Ms. Cattleya Fulvescens 'Peaches Immortality' has decided to bloom.

Here are the two buds. Hopefully this will foreshadow more abundant growing and blooming.

Oscarman, I know!!! I bought it as a three lead division last year. Now it has about 10!!! I'm exicted. FINALLY. Another division I bought from the same vendor around the same time bloomed for the first time this year also and that gave me 6 blooms.

I'm a little late to this posting, but does C. Fulvescens have a scent? If so, tell me about it! I acquired one in a trade (it was tossed in and sent to me as a surprise). There's no cultivar name on it. It's a young plant, so a bloom may be sometime in the future, but not too soon, as far as I can tell. Thanks!

Mine does. It smells like lemons. Not perfumy-lemon, but very citrusy lemons.
