Default The one that started it all ...

... is finally blooming! lol Catt alliance inter-generic (I'm guessing) Noid. My first ever orchid. I got it in the summer of '04 - downtown farmer's market. It was in bloom at the time. It bloomed once for me in '07 after being left outside and neglected all winter. I didn't remember what it looks like other than orange and smallish blooms.

Despite having difficulties getting this one to bloom - it's been a real trouper and refused to die no matter what I did wrong!

My many thanks to all the OB folks who helped me to get this to bloom!

Thanks for looking And if anyone thinks they recognize this one (unlikely I know) please share!

Yay!! It's so wonderful when the orchid that started it all (finally) blooms again. Very pretty too, I'm a big fan of these 'no frills' catts.
My very first orchid (a pink Cym) also bloomed this spring for the very first time since I bought it - in march 2006. It's a wonderful feeling to see it bloom again, so I can imagine how you're feeling!

How cute is that! Great job getting it to re-flower. You seem to have found the secret, so I'm sure that it will flower now for years to come!
