Very nice - one of my favourite cattleya alliance genera (now called diacrium I believe). People complain about the spade lip coming through in the breeding, but I think it's awesome! Good blooming

In fact, the spike is easily aborted in winter.
This year, the spike occurred late and hence I could saw it in bloom.

Ted, the cold front in winter or sometimes in spring usually does harm to these hot or warm growers.
In past, the spike usually aborted after a cold front hit.

It used to be Diacrum, now it's Caularthron.
