Blc. Chia Lin with soft & wrinkled leaves Male
Default Blc. Chia Lin with soft & wrinkled leaves

Hello,
I have been growing a Blc. Chia Lin Shinsu #1 from a seedling. It grew and got one huge leaf. I potted it up to a 4 inch pot a few months ago. I live in San Jose CA and have had it in a south facing window this winter temps day 60 - 68 night 54-58. The leaves are not firm and some of the smaller leaves are a bit wrinkled. I have two other cat seedlings and they are fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am fairly new to orchids and probably know just enough to be dangerous.

Norm

A 4 inch pot is awfully big for a small catt. Have you checked the roots? The potting media may not have been dry all the way through when you watered and you may have some root rot. Can you post a picture?

I would say the answer lies in the roots... they may be rotten. Or, the humidity may be low.
