Default Cattleya leopoldii var. lisa 'Jawaperí'

I think this a beautiful variety of Cattleya leopoldii. This flower has a much different color in the lip, a sweet pink that gets a bit darker as days go by. Also spots are absent and (to me!) the shades of green add an extra appeal to the flower!
The second photo shows another color variation.

Fantastic blooms, Mauro. I really like the leopoldiis that have dark colors and spots, but this one is quite beautiful too. Actually, I have yet to see a leopoldii that I haven't thought to be beautiful. It ranks right under C. amethystoglossa as my favorite Brazilian cattleya species.

I like the spotted, but the spotless are very beautiful to my eyes, Steve.

It depends a little on the ecotype. Tall plants can be three feet high, but some ecotypes, like the plants found in Bahia, are not higher than 1.3 foot.
