I need a name for my catt because of the photos I am taking. I have over one hundred pics with my cattleyas and I can't name all of them "catts". Even in not the right scientific name, maybe is something related to it and for me is ok. I am not a real collector of orchids, I LOVE them and I want to catch the beauty of them in pictures.

And a little remark: I like my orchids to look great: leaves, pots and not only the flowers. It is not always possible, but I try to make them look good even after the flowers are gone.

Nico,

I make up names for all my orchids, mainly so I can label the pictures of them. I label them with square brackets arround the name if it is a made up name.

Like you sometimes those names are the name of something it might be but I still use the brackets so that I know it is not a definate name.
