I won a Blc Golden Tang at a raffle for my orchid society. I've not found much about what this hybrid likes. Any recommendations?
Thanks!

Welcome to Orchid Board!

Give it general Cattleya care.

Thanks Ted - I've been treating it like a Cattleya while researching it. It seems happy with a few new growths coming in. I just wanted to be sure cause I can't wait to see the blooms!

Good drainage, bright light, frequent watering. As warm as you can keep it, as bright as you can handle in winter. Shade to bright cat light in summer. It's a vigorous grower, heavy feeder.

In a suitable climate (warm & bright enough), you should bloom it twice a year. We registered & have re-made this hybrid many times

Thanks catwalker808,
I appreciate the info. I'm in TX near the coast so warm and bright shouldn't be a problem. What would you recommend for fertilizer?
