Cattleya warneri
This is getting mature by now (2º blooming). It's a cross between an amesiana and an albescens that got back to type. Wonderful fragrance, very similar to tutti-frutti.

How sweet is that, Mauro! Tutti-frutti, a bonus!

They look fabulous, Mauro. This one's closely related to C. labiata, yes (or maybe I'm confusing labiata with some other cattleya species)? Do you grow it warm or intermediate?

It's been a problem, this species, Jan. Several specific clones (caeruleas, amesianas, albescens, amoenas, semi-albas) have proven not to be good for crosses targeting to repeat their colors. Only this year I had four different crosses involving caerulea x caerulea, s.alba x s. alba, amesiana x amoena, albescens x amoena that flowered for the first time as types. The flowers are beautiful, all right, but...
What is good is that we learn a little about the genetic behavior of the clones involved.

Wow, it's pretty, even if not the colour you hoped with the cross.
I especially love the lip colour.
