i waited a loonnngg time to see this one....and sorry about the lousy pic, it was hanging and i couldnt get it down and handle the camera at the same time....lol...but it is a beautiful flower!

oh yes, mine makes molasses look like lightening! but well worth the wait...i would like to try some diff cultivars of this one...its always been a fav of mine...

This is such a great species! Don't forget to smell it after all the lights have been turned off for a couple of hours. Smells really 'citrusy.'

Beautiful flower! It sent me off to the books to check out other Brassavolas. And I made this interesting discovery; apparently botanists moved digbyana to rhyncholaelia. But so many places I checked still use B. instead of Rh. I'm not sure what source to trust. But I am sure of this:If you are having trouble handling the camera and the orchid, always drop the camera.
